Former France and Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery is to join Fiorentina, the Serie A side said on Wednesday.
The club's site demonstrated a video of the 36-year-old venturing off a personal jet at Florence's Peretola air terminal before gathering authorities.
Italian media said that around 300 Fiorentina supporters were additionally holding on to welcome him.
Ribery said that his previous Bayern colleague Luca Toni, an ex-Italy worldwide who had two stretches had Fiorentina, had persuaded him to make the move.
